If you’re looking for a winery, relatively close to the DC area, that serves brunch; the Le Grand Cru Bistro at Potomac Point is your best bet. Le Grand Cru is one of my favorite eateries for a delicious gourmet brunch, I can’t get enough of their lobster omelets with home fries, maple bourbon glazed salmon and baked crab mac and cheese. I encourage you to dine outside so you can see the view of the vines.
The Vineyards and Winery at Lost Creek
My friends and I hosted our annual holiday brunch and gift exchange at Lost Creek, and it surpassed my expectations. Their brunch is only hosted on Sundays, but everything on the menu is great. It’s all small plates, but two to three per person is sufficient. I’d encourage you to do a wine tasting while eating brunch to elevate your experience.
Sunday Brunch at Salamander is quite the treat. You may choose to dine at Harriman’s Grill and indulge in the buffet for $45 a person or have breakfast at Market Salamander which is less costly if you’re watching your budget. Typically, I dine at the Gold Cup Bar and eat their shrimp and grits along with a VA wine flight! It’s delicious.
